Traveling in Vietnam 2019 – Welcome to Hanoi

I started on my YouTuber journey …

back at the beginning of this year, when I met up with some of my oldest school friends in Vietnam for 10 days. It was a special trip, as we all turned 50 in the previous year, or were about to turn 50.

I’ll be posting my series of videos, filmed with my GoPro Hero 7 Black – which was pretty much the only convenient decent video capable camera I had at the time. Well, I did have the Fujifilm XT-3 as well, but I quickly discovered as I progressed in my YouTube learning, that it doesn’t really suit my shooting and video style. In fact, I don’t think any SLR does. Join me on my first day in Hanoi, where I compare the traffic to India, try to find bia hoi corner (a Czech style beer brewed fresh every day and yes, it’s still here) and wander around the streets of the Old Quarter, the French Quarter and around Hoan Kiem Lake.

Hanoi beer is delicious, light and refreshing and well worth seeking out.
